What is a monastery?

Monastery_Manasija_-_Serbia.JPG

A monastery is a building where monks live while they are practising their religion. A building in which monks live and worship.

The above are two definitions for the term ‘monastery’. I found the picture above via an internet search. I am not favouring any one particular religion when I decided to add the photo. I just wanted to give an example of what a monastery looks like. I consider my home my monastery. I foresee E-monks from countries across the globe, joining WOTRI. As in my Remote Influencing ‘links of a chain’ affirmation, we can join these monasteries as links of a chain. This could mean that our monastery could grow pretty large over the course of time.

Online self-help support group.

I will be opening an online self-help support group via this blog web site and through other online platforms such as Facebook and Google plus. I have witnessed how powerful groups can be over the course of my many years experience online.

Here is a link to a bog post of mine. It provides more info on my proposed online self-help support group.

The tools required to become a monk at WOTRI.

Remote Influencing (RI) via my Asus laptop

There are not too many tools required to become a monk at Way of The Remote Influencer – WOTRI. As WOTRI is essentially an online monastery, the  bare essentials necessary would be a reliable PC with internet access. A landline phone and a mobile – cellular phone would also be handy to have.  (If you are wondering who that is in the photo above, it is me, Anand Sule, the founder of WOTRI. I didn’t have my laptop turned on when I took the photo. I was surprised at how my image appeared on the laptop screen. It became almost like a mirror effect )

The main tools we already have : Our mind, body and spirit. Technology plays a big part in WOTRI. However, I don’t think it is good to become a slave to technology. For example, when I / we, do a Remote Influencing session, the tools we would use would be our mind, body and spirit.

Links of a chain, Remote Influencing (RI)affirmation.

I had my first book self-published in 2008. The title of the book is ‘ The Remote Influencer 2’. I was planning on writing two versions of the book. I chose to publish the proposed second version first. If I did write another version, I would most likely choose the title ‘ The Remote Influencer’.

If anyone is interested in reading my book, I can send you over an e-version of my book in PDF format at no cost. I can e-mail it over to you.

Did you like the chain image in my site’s logo? Here’s one of the affirmations in my book: ‘Like links of a chain, through Remote Influencing (RI), we are connected to positive influences, people, events, situations and outcomes’. In future posts, I will explain how my RI methods, techniques, ideas and philosophies are connected and interconnected. There is a method to my system.

Way of The Remote Influencer – WOTRI, E-Monks.

I came up with a new term today: E-Monks. I typed up a PDF file with my definitions for this new and unique term.

Here is some of what I had written in my PDF file: E-Monk.

WOTRI stands for Way of The Remote Influencer. I am a monk. My work is done primarily via pc’s and the internet. Therefore, I am an E-Monk.

An E-Monk is a monk or a nun whose community work is conducted online via the internet.

An E-Monk’s main tools for serving their community are, pc’s and the internet.

WOTRI is not a physical,  brick and mortar monastery. You cannot touch WOTRI with your hands. It is an intangible product, if you will. WOTRI is an E-Monastery.

If you would like me to send you a copy of the above PDF file, please contact me via my School of The Remote Influencer web site e-mail address:

My Facebook WOTRI page.

I started a new Facebook page for Way of The Remote Influencer last week. I have to say that I am impressed with how well Facebook pages and Facebook in general, work. Facebook now has over 1 billion users worldwide.

I have been in contact with businesses and with authors via their Facebook pages. These page owners had responded to my enquiries pretty quick too. I wonder whether they would have responded so quick had I contacted them via their main web site’s e-mail address.

My Ordination.

I had been ordained as a minister through the Universal Life Church monastery on August 13th 2012. Once I had received my ordination certification, my monastic aspirations were given a boost. These ideas seemed more tangible once I had received my ordination. I have made back up digital copies of my certificate as well.

Way of The Remote Influencer, an introduction.

Hello and welcome to my wordpress blog for the new online monastery I have created – Way of The Remote Influencer: WOTRI. My name is Anand Sule. This is the first online monastery of its kind in the world. I had developed a powerful Remote Influencing (RI) system back in 2002 in Sunnyvale, California, USA. I wrote a book about my RI system in 2008.

I am developing myself into the powerful archetype: The Remote Influencer. You could say that The Remote Influencer is an ideal of sorts. The Remote Influencer is a powerful man or a woman who uses their RI skills and knowledge to help their communities and the world at large.

Technology plays a big part in WOTRI. WOTRI is not a religion. I believe in God and I believe in science too. People of all faiths and/or non believers can join this online monastery and they can do so without cost. Remote Influencing could be categorized as a form of personal development. Personal development covers vast areas. I am continuing to add to the Remote Influencing body of knowledge on a perpetual basis.

I have instinctively been following a monk like way of life for many years now. I am fascinated with monks and monkhood. In future posts I will give more info on these subjects. I hope to recruit fellow lightworkers to join WOTRI over the course of time.
